About the Author
Scott Cunningham practiced magic actively for over twenty years. He was the author of more than fifty books covering both fiction and non-fiction subject matter; sixteen of his titles are published by Llewellyn Publications. Scott's books reflect a broad range of interests within the New Age sphere, where he was very highly regarded. He passed from this life on March 28, 1993, after a long illness.

One of the most highly recommended Books I've been told to read so far, and they were right.

I was curious about Paganism, Wicca, and the craft in general.
This is one of the better books out there as far as positive information about practices and utilizing the powers within the Earth and within us all.
Information on being one with the Earth, and your environment.
In my experience this is one of the most highly recommended books when it comes to all things "witchy".
Pretty much going back to our roots as human beings.
Our natural relationships with the Earth, Ourselves, and One another, and the literal power that holds. Things we've lost and forgotten over time.
You don't even need to be interested in Wicca to find this book useful. It's more-less about being more "natural". Maybe even more like a hippy than a witch or witchcraft, which basically all who don't practice black, or dark magick are.
The enlightened ones would benefit from reading this.

Clear, Understandable, & Fun to Read

This book is very informative. It helps understand much of the pagan and wicca beliefs. It clears up many of the negative ideas people have toward these ideas. It simply describes all the tools and background you need to start on your solo wicca journey. It's simply written & easy to understand. If you're interested in becoming wiccan, this is a great starting point here is fun to read. Grab a highlighter and get to educating yourself.

Firstly, I am completely new to Wicca. This book was actually recommended to me by several people who practice Wicca since I live in a rural area and really have to learn this religion by myself. So far, I have only read the first few sections but find myself engulfed already and in love!
I can not speak for the authenticity of the writing, because I am so new, there is no way for me to know if this book is a good place to start. But from reading other reviews and listening to those who recommended it to me, I am confident this was a good purchase.
I can however at least speak on the condition of the book I received. It arrived very quickly and in wonderful condition (pictures included in my review). The print is great and the book is definitely brand new. I was very happy this book included the author's own personal Book of Shadows. From what I understand, you should make your own Book of Shadows to fit your own needs/beliefs, but it is really helpful to have an example to get an idea of how you will want yours to be.
I can not wait to continue reading this book. I most likely will update my review after I finish to add more details if I feel it necessary.
